Security-first wallet design
Regen Tech developed a cross-platform crypto wallet app that reimagines the self-custodial experience. Built as the mobile participant in a multi-party computation (MPC) network, the wallet eliminates traditional risks like seed phrase exposure and single points of compromise.
This wallet integrates with the MPC SDK developed for our client and participates in threshold signing operations, initially in 2-of-3 configurations involving mobile, cloud, and hardware parties. A t-of-n rollout is planned, expanding signing policies for more complex security needs.
Authentication is handled through Passkey (FIDO2) login, enabling passwordless access using biometrics and secure enclave-based credentials. Users gain secure, phishing-resistant access to their wallet without needing to remember or protect a recovery phrase.
Full compatibility & seamless recovery
This wallet complies with BIP32/39 standards, allowing:
Import of existing wallets (e.g., MetaMask) and conversion to MPC format
Export to other wallet platforms if needed
For backup and recovery, encrypted shards are stored across mobile, cloud, and optionally hardware. This structure ensures that users retain full custody without relying on any single device or custodian.
Web3 connectivity and dApp interaction
The wallet supports connection to decentralized applications via WalletConnect and provides multi-chain support for:

The app also supports steganography, allowing users to embed encrypted messages into visual media. Minting NFTs is supported directly within the app, eliminating the need for third-party platforms.
UX and platform design
The wallet runs on both iOS and Android and is built with Flutter using native Kotlin and Swift SDKs under the hood. Monthly updates deliver UI refinements, dApp support improvements, and security enhancements.
Passkey login provides seamless entry without credential management. MPC signing operates silently in the background, coordinating with the cloud and (in future versions) with browser and hardware signers.
